From its 2003 issue onwards, BELL is subtitled Belgian Journal of English Language and Literatures. The renewed journal is internationally refereed, and published by Academia Press, Ghent.  Until further notice, there will be one issue per year, covering Language, Literature, and ELT.  Issues will be mixed or thematic, according to the decision of the editorial board. Thus, BELL 2003 is entirely devoted to papers from the BAAHE Conference, "Beyond : New Perspectives in Linguistics, Literary Studies and English Language Teaching", and BELL 2004 is devoted to the theme "The Language/ Literature Interface", and BELL 2005 to the theme "Cultural Hybridity".
Calls for papers  are issued internationally.

Submissions: To be considered for publication, papers (and a 250- word abstract) must be submitted before February 15 th (Click here for the BELL Style Sheet) and in accordance with the publishing calendar. Submissions, which should be in hard-copy form, are refereed by at least two readers. Articles that are accepted should be subsequently submitted in electronic form (Word.rtf format). The editors reserve the right to amend phrasing and punctuation.

Subscriptions: Paid-up members of BAAHE receive a complimentary copy of BELL as part of their membership privileges. Non-BAAHE subscriptions should be addressed to the managing editor and the treasurer, and payment made into the BAAHE account 001-1771659-30.

Back issues up to 1996 (if still available) may be ordered from and paid to BAAHE at EUR 25,00  each.
